datacenter facilities

internet / network access

  • Rock Solid & Speedy Network using BGP4 (no provider preference), routed connections from 2 different true "Tier 1" backbones (AT&T, UUNET) fed into redundant Cisco 7206/6506 router/switches to create one of the fastest, most reliable networks. The entire network is routed or switched for maximum speed and reliability.
  • All fiber network connections are fed into the building via several different local loop service providers including XO, AT&T Local Services & Southwestern Bell. This setup offers a tremendous safety net and added layer of protection in case of loss of fiber.

equipment datacenter area

  • The total equipment space of the datacenter is ~ 22,100 square feet. The entire datacenter is placed upon raised floors for better and cleaner cable management and climate control. All areas of the datacenter are monitored 24 / 7 / 365. The datacenter is climate controlled for both temperature and humidity to allow optimum equipment performance and reliability.
  • We offer standard 19" (23" also available) cabinets to our customers. All cabinets are locked at all times for security purposes. As an industry standard, the cabinet's depth is 36”.

datacenter power systems

  • The datacenter maintains it's own 1500 KW standby diesel generator used in the event of a power failure.
  • Utilizing the 2-500 KVA/400W dual-mod redundant UPS’, the datacenter can remain fully functional utilizing battery power for twenty minutes. Power can be delivered @ 120V AC, 208V AC or 48V DC.

datacenter security systems

  • Highest priority is set in order to enter the datacenter. All doors are protected by a card-key entry system. A record-keeping program is available for verification purposes.
  • Biometric Fingerprint Scanner could be used to verify the identity of customers.
  • CCTV monitoring and recording is applied in all areas of the datacenter. All video is recorded onto a non-linear system, which can be played back at any time.

fire detection / suppression systems

  • VESDA - Early Warning Detection equipment is installed in the datacenter and operates in conjunction with the integrated smoke/heat detector system. In the event of a fire, zoned fire extinguishers are activated to extinguish the blaze with minimal destruction to other parts of the equipment in the facility.
