Configuration Group Details

Warning: Config Groups are an incredibly powerful feature in Cartweaver 4 and offer enormous potential to customize what the Cartweaver 4 Admin can do, but altering the Config Groups from their default configuration is not within the scope of this documentation and is for advanced users. Altering the Config Groups is not supported, so doing so is at the users risk. It is recommended to leave the Config Groups in their default settings and configuration.

Edit Config Group Details

This section allows you to select which existing Config Group you would like to work on by selecting the group from the drop down list. Selecting the various groups and then analyzing the settings below is a good way to get an idea of how the various groups are set up and how Config Groups work in general

Add New Config Item in 'Admin Controls'

Here you can create new Config Groups. - This section is outside of the scope of this documentation. Altering or adding Config Groups can have possibly unintended, negative consequences on the way Cartweaver functions. It is not recommended for normal use!

Active Config Items

This section of the page lists all the various settings for each Config Group. Altering the settings here will change the way the corresponding function in the Cartweaver Admin works. Analyzing the settings is a good way to gain an understanding of how sections of the Admin operate. Changing these settings is not recommended for normal use. If you should decide to experiment with the Config Group settings it is highly recommended you do so on a practice site!

Note: Config Groups offer a great deal of power and customizability, but they are an advanced feature that should be approached with great caution. Experimentation with Config Groups is not a supported activity and is done at the users discretion.
